These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Manga Painter mobile application ("App"), provided by Manga Painter ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using any part of the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
The App automatically creates an anonymous account when you first launch it. This account is tied to your device. If you uninstall the App or clear app data without registering an email, your account data (credits, history) may be permanently lost.
You may optionally register with an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at arturlazur@gmail.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your account is inactive for an extended period.
Manga Painter provides AI-powered image colorization and animation for manga and similar artwork. The App allows you to:
Using the colorization and animation features consumes credits ("Sparks"). Credit costs per operation:

Credits are deducted when a job is successfully submitted to our servers, not when you view the result. Credits are non-refundable once consumed, even if you are unsatisfied with the AI output.
New accounts receive a small number of free credits upon creation. Additional free credits may be granted for verifying an email address. Free credit amounts are subject to change at our discretion.
We offer monthly subscription plans that renew your credit balance each billing period. Subscriptions are managed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and processed by RevenueCat. Current plans and pricing are shown in the App and are subject to change with notice.
You may purchase additional credits as consumable one-time purchases. These credits do not expire and do not renew.
You agree not to use the App to submit, process, or distribute content that:
We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account that violates these rules without notice.
You retain ownership of images you upload. By submitting an image for processing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit the image solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded images.
The copyright status of AI-generated images and videos varies by jurisdiction and continues to evolve. We make no representation as to the copyright status of AI outputs. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable law.
Manga Painter includes an in-app browser that lets you access third-party websites. The intellectual property rights in any third-party content (manga pages, images) belong to their respective owners. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any image you submit for processing. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use of content you own or have permission to use.
The App, including its design, code, trademarks, and all content we create, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Manga Painter and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) your submitted content.
The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Gemini AI, Fal AI, Kling Video, and RevenueCat. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these services. Their use is governed by their own terms of service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service. We may also change subscription pricing; we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our primary business is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
Before filing any legal action, you agree to contact us at arturlazur@gmail.com and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally. This does not apply to claims of intellectual property infringement or emergency injunctive relief.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or email (if registered). Continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Manga Painter regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
